Job vacancy: Strategic Resources Project Manager

The Trustees of Buckfastleigh food bank wish to appoint a Strategic Resources Project Manager for the Foodbank.

Hours: 15 per week, to be worked flexibly

Salary: £15-18 per hour, depending on experience

Fixed term: 2 years

Interview date: 22nd July 2025

Start Date: September 2025

 

Key responsibilities

Reviewing, creating and implementing improved referral pathways to the food bank.

Creating a multi-year plan that will help reach key client groups who don’t currently access the food bank, and which will help tackle and address the underlying drivers of food insecurity locally.

Researching and applying for the necessary grants.

 

Requirements

Do you:

Have experience of strategic project management and researching and analysing community data?

Have experience of turning information into deliverable plans?

Have an understanding of how food banks or similar organisations work?

Enjoy engaging with a variety of groups and organisations across the community?

Have empathy and ability to work with people from disadvantaged, marginalised, or socially excluded backgrounds?
